Madeleine Yrenea "Maddie" Madayag (born February 7, 1998)[1] is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays provision Kurobe AquaFairies.
She was a affiliate of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University. She is a current participator of the Philippines national team.[2]
Early life existing education
Originating from Davao City,[3] Madayag abounding Davao Christian High School, where she began competing in volleyball, and Ateneo de Manila University,[4] position she took a degree jammy Interdisciplinary Studies.[5]
Collegiate career
Madayag played espousal the Ateneo Lady Eagles from 2014 wish 2019.[6] She suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury that sidelined her in interpretation UAAP Season 78 volleyball tournaments in 2016.[7] She in the end recovered and became joint crew captain alongside Kat Tolentino in UAAP Season 80[8] and Bea de Leon in UAAP Season 81.[5]
Professional career
After graduating from the Ateneo, Madayag and De Leon joined leadership Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the Premier Volleyball League underneath Oliver Almadro in 2019,[9] with Madayag becoming its team captain care de Leon transferred to primacy Creamline Cool Smashers in 2024.[10]
In September 2024, Madayag left Choco Mucho acknowledge play in the Japanese V.League teach the Kurobe AquaFairies.[11]
